My husband decided to paint the ground floor of the house this weekend. I knew I had to go to a café or I would be cranky. I took my bike and went to the only reasonably priced café in the neighbourhood. I dare say in Montreal. It’s near a Metro station. I’m sitting at the bar looking out the window and listening to my all-time favourite playlist which includes songs by Stina Nordenstam (never recorded again), Lisa Germano, Cat Power, Fiona Apple, Joan as Policewoman, Phoenix, and Tame Impala. A lot of oldies.
This week I finally got unblocked.
The magic tools were graphite, watercolour and charcoal. Making a mess. It never fails.
