This weekend my husband went on a cross-country ski trip with his friends and I stayed home with the dog. I’m usually not totally alone, but when I am I tend to derail.
My mini-holiday includes not showering, not cooking, eating chips, drinking coffee, eating cereal for supper and watching movies my husband doesn’t particularly favor.
I also devoted a few hours to music on my headphones. I have a strict policy against listening music as background noise. Lyrics and melodies are too important to me. If I need background sound I usually put on some water streams or forest sounds.
So what did I do?
A few drawings. Here’s one:
I watched England is Mine, again. The story of Morrissey before the Smiths. Although not corroborated nor condoned by Morrissey himself, I love the setting. I recognize a few well known events of his life.
