The Fakery of It All

My new favourite word: Slop

We spent a weekend at a cabin. Fall colours were at their peak. Usually, it’s very rainy, and the leaves fall pretty fast. But this year, it’s been dry, cool, and sunny. Everything is golden.

I didn’t take many art supplies with me. Just a few cheap tubes of gouache (I forgot the white). I had just a tiny bit. I made a couple of folded sketchbooks but I wasn’t very inspired.
